Your surgeon will review your medical history and ask about medications and conditions. He or she will ask what cosmetic procedures you are interested in or what you would like to have corrected.
Your cosmetic surgeon will discuss the procedure you are considering, pros and cons, results that can be expected, side effects, recovery and other related topics. Costs and financing may be covered by your surgeon or his or her staff. Scheduling may also be discussed by either the surgeon or the staff.
You will be asked if you have any questions. It is important during your cosmetic surgery consultation that you ask any questions, regardless of what they may be. This is the time when you learn enough about the procedure and the surgeon to make your decision and you don’t want to leave without adequate information.
